We are proud to present our venture to the people of Edinburgh and its visitors. We hope that you will enjoy our wee family-run Indian & Bangladeshi Restaurant and Takeaway as much as we enjoy being a part of it.

The team in the kitchen are Mum and Dad cooking (come look for yourself through the window behind the bar to witness the magic), with the rest of the Ali Clan giving a warm family welcome to all!!

Since we opened, we’ve catered from Birthday parties to Weddings with set menus starting from £12 per person sitting in. We have menus to suit all requirements, so you can eat well at a great price. Check out our Menus page for further details.

Kismot has recently hit worldwide headlines with its infamous Kismot Killer curry eating contest. At Kismot we are always pushing the bounderies to put our own stamp on Indian cuisine and put Kismot at the forefront of unique Indian dining with dishes such as the Kismot Killer curry, curry flavoured ice cream, chocolate & marshmallow centred naans and our range of milkshakes.
